As June wraps up, the Halifax real estate market shows a mix of both changes and trends. The average sold price increased slightly by 2.1% from last year, now sitting at $596K. However, the number of sales dropped by 14%, with 527 homes sold compared to 612 in June 2023. Inventory is up (good news for buyers!), with 988 homes for sale, a 19% increase from last year. Homes are spending a bit more time on the market, averaging 28 days compared to 22 days last year.
